Recommended for all readers.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Interesting Rock Biography.By bull dozerI was interested in this biography for a couple of reasons. 1: Slade never made it big here in the United States; but the songs that I do know are great. 2: Somewhere in the blurb or reviews it mentioned that Don Powell had memory problems; and wrote a daily journal to compensate. So I was kind of interested in how the biography of a person with memory problems would read.To me; as a book; the middle of this biography lulled a little bit. Buy Don Powell does come off as one of the genuine nice guys of Rock Roll.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy Michael HerlihyDetailed and interesting history of Slade. More honest and open than Whos Crazee Now? (no offense; Noddy).
