The only thing that I dont like about the book is that the shoes they chose to photogragh for the books dont have enough information about them. I would like to know more about the individual shoes; the people that wore them; how they were made and what they were made of.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. shoes shoes shoes...By Anna SAs a self confessed shoe addict I just had to get this book! At the beginning its got egyptian sandals and some weird pumps and clogs; but things get more interesting around pg 37. There they start looking at some vintage (and I mean vintage - some of them are over 400 years old) womens shoes that go right through to some more modern designs.Sadly theres no Blahniks; Choos or Louboutins; but its interesting to see some of the stranger and painful looking (even compared to the highest heels today theres some definite toe-killers here) shoe designs.Get this yourself; or if youre a man; your wife; your sister; your granny - after all; what woman doesnt love shoes?
