For Lovers of the Virginia Creeper TrailBy CustomerI was drawn to this book because I had hiked along the popular Virginia Creeper Trail and thought it was so beautiful. I had never much thought about the fact that it was once an important railroad line to many small towns and communities and the impact it made on the lives of these rural folk. The stories and poetry are nostalgic and entertaining and blend seamlessly with the beautifully done paintings and drawings. I would recommend for those who love the mountains; trains or small town rural life.
