LipioIt is a world of its own and yet it is the world of millions of South East Asian Chinese immigrants who were in search of a better world; assimilated into the culture and then created a world of culture all their own; but always relating to the country of birth. Some of the houses may be a bit too much and extravagant; but that is true of most " New " wealth. This is a good intro book for anyone interested in this particular sub-culture in the south east asia. For me I sort of grew up in this culture and am looking to reinforce my concept and apply to my art design. As an intro book the subject matter might not have gone deep enough for me.
