A Midsummer Night's Dream (MAXNotes Literature Guides)

audiobook A Midsummer Night's Dream (MAXNotes Literature Guides) by Gail Rae in Arts-Photography

Description

The only book that shows how the Blues Scales (Major and Minor) are used to create jazz solos. Designed to help beginners quickly learn how to create meaningful solos without having to first master all the scales and chords of a tune. Great transcriptions of solo phrases by Miles Davis; Dave Sanborn; Dizzy Gillespie; etc. showing how the Blues Scales are used. The accompanying CD has the author and his NY rhythm section demonstrating each exercise; and also great as a jazz play-along! Endorsed by Michael Brecker; Jamey Aebersold; etc. The audio portion of this book is available for free download at http://www.shermusic.com/new/downloads.shtml.

Review
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. viewing sheet musicBy Gale WolfeWhen selling sheet music arrangements; it is important to provide a sample of the arrangement to the viewer. Otherwise; we cant tell if the arrangement is what we are looking for or not. This arrangement I bought was not what I wanted but I could not tell that until I got it and looked at it.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Perfect gift for young childrenBy Anna MaeI haven given this book to several children of family and friends. It is something beautiful to share with them. Adults will love it also. I planning to get the song on CD or MP3 to give right along with the book. The song; of course; is a classic. And; the illustrations are outstanding. An all around joy to have and to give. It is a keeper.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Happy with purchase.By Robert LopezThe used product was exactly as described. It was packaged well. No problems at all.
