I love it!By Dianne EricksonPersonally; another boring book on how to draw a photographic likeness is not what I was looking for... and this book is exactly what I wanted. Ive been painting for many years so I know how to paint a likeness; but I want more. Willem de Kooning used to draw with his left hand; and with his eyes closed to shake himself out of the boring; and find some surprise in his work. I want to shake my hand out of the usual route so well known. This book will do it. The exercises are not all new; but some I hadnt used before and they do work. Books are like art; I guess... its a personal thing. I am really glad I found this book!!!
