Its surely an important read for women and artists but i think its also an important tread for anyone pondering the role of their work in the grand scheme.... And; for a book os amazing analytics and sophistication; its oddly a very personal read; for the reader and author. One feels as though the author is herself deeply moved by the subject (although doesnt write as such absent one odd line: "She ate so little that by the end she weighed almost nothing." Cant really explain that line but its the only overly sentimental; exaggerating line in this incredible book.) The only negative is that it is too damn short. Read it twice.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Gives great insight on how Lozano thought and ran her practiceBy Emily BakerExtraordinarily well written.
