Good book; a little confusionBy euterpencOverall; a great buy - lots of great songs; the transcriptions are accurate; and the explanatory notes at the beginning are informative. However; one issue I noticed is that there is sometimes a call for a capo where there shouldnt be (e.g. Honey Bee). Please correct me if Im wrong; but the notation for this song says to capo the first fret; but this doesnt match the recorded version to my ears and doesnt match the key signature listed for the tune. It says to adjust the key signature for capo; but even if the capo should be on the first fret; its confusing to not just have them match.If Im doing something wrong here please let me know; as this was mysterious to me. In any case; Ive solved the problem to my satisfaction by simply ignoring the capo instruction for this song and playing it open in E; rather than capoed for F.45 of 46 people found the following review helpful.
