Good repair shortcuts for advanced DIY camera mechanics. Not for beginners or those afraid of getting into a cameras innards. I liked it because it helped me fix one camera; thus more than paying for itself. Its not for everyone-its not a universal book. Neither was Book 1; for that matter. I did some research online trying to find probable causes; and the procedures to fix the problem. This book and book 2 helped me fix my 35mm camera. These books were very helpful; not only for basic fundamentals of the 35mm cameras; but there is also a symptom tree that leads you right to the problem and gives you in detail (with lots of pictured illustrations) all the procedures to fix the problem. There is also information on the medium format cameras as well. Very nice books!
