How about a mention of nationally known Rabbis Max Macaby; Kagan or Margolis; Not a word of the academic excellence on the whole of Jewish students; therefore the great schools.How about a mention of the Jewish Center open to the whole city. Dr. Spruill does a wonderful job in his books showing the history of our great City from the days that it was under the auspices of Eastchester until now. I love the black and white pictures; many which I can relate to. He tells about the many generations before me which include my grandfather and father. It has been a teaching tool for my children and grandchildren. I thank Dr. Spruill for taking the time to put all this information in a book so I as well as any more can have if for years to come.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
