A must have book for 20th centurys art comprehensionBy Juliano LamurExcellent contents; deep and acessible. Based on a 1993s symposium concerning the interdisciplinarity between Kandinskys paintings and Schoenbergs music; specially in first decade of 20th century. Schonberg and Kandinsky: An Historic Encounter (Contemporary Music Studies) brings elucidative articles; analysis of some paintings; scores with exemples and more. I didnt finished the reading yet; but in 2 years researching about this is the best book I saw and probably the best book ever released about the theme. And if youre interested about this subject; I personally recommend Arnold Schoenberg and Kandinsky.Good Readings!
