I made the switch from film to digital in my photography business 4 months ago. I really didnt know what I was getting myself into; but this book has made the transition successful. I keep it right next to my Mac and use it almost every day. The three most important tools for me in my business...my Canon camera; my Mac computer; and Boot Camp by Kevin Kubota.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Photoshop Boot Camp-Step by Step Guide for the BeginnerBy Rudy AndlWith all the excellent reviews I was expecting a book that would offer a lot more than it did. Two thirds of this work deals with post capture processing. For the most part this is a book on how to manipulate your capture to get a more pleasing final product. Photo Shop One on One is much more comprehensive and I would recommend that book for anyone that us interested in learning how to in Photoshop. To Boot Camps credit the author does a good job in explaining how to correct the hand full of short commings in capture with Photoshop.More bang for your post capture processing buck and knowledge else where.
