A good addition to a collectionBy Laval49This has a nice collection of kimonos to knit. They look fairly easy; for the most part. I am a fairly experienced knitter and I think that most of the projects are within the reach of average knitters. The projects are somewhat ambitious; in that most of them will require a lot of knitting (time; yarn); because they are big items; some of them ankle-length. However; they look cozy and comfortable and kimonos flatter every figure. If you want something comfy and yet stylish; and like holding knitting needles in your hands; go for it.I would have liked a bit more information on knitting techniques; which is why I didnt give this the full five stars.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Beautiful patterns; but be prepared for mathBy The knitting WitchThis book gets four stars for being easy to follow; and having so many lovely patterns; but most of them wouldnt fit a plus sized woman. The measurements are taken at the bust; rather than saying small; medium; large; but most are easy to adjust for larger sizes. If you dont mind working out the math; its a great book. Dont forget to swatch first!
