Einaudis music is beautiful; but there are better sheet music collections for his work out thereBy Monica J. KernLet me start off by being crystal clear: My rating of 3 stars refers ONLY to the choice of pieces included in this collection; not the quality of the music or the transcriptions. Einaudi is a genius; and everybody should buy his sheet music and play this incredibly beautiful music; I would simply recommend others of his sheet music collections instead.Heres why: This collection includes only 11 pieces:CoraleThe Dark Bank Of CloudsDietro CasaFlyIndacoPrimaveraQuesta VoltaSarabandeThe Snow Prelude No.3The TowerTwo TreesIm also frankly somewhat baffled by the claim that these constitute the "Easiest Original Pieces;" as it omits Exit and Limbo; which are probably the easiest of all; as well as I Due Fiumi; Nefeli; Dolce Droga; I Giorni; and Nuvole Bianche; all of which Id consider to be easier than most of the pieces included in this collection. And while "Corale" and "Dark Bank of Clouds" are admittedly technically easy; they are not the prettiest of his piano solos; so I wouldnt recommend people starting out with them.Honestly; Id recommend just buying "The Best of Ludovico Eianudi: Piano Solo" collection (with 36 pieces in it; easily the most bang for the buck) or the Islands sheet music collection instead if youre looking for easy Einaudi.
