This Book Tells About The History Of Roaring Camp Railroad.By WilliamThis book tells about the history of Roaring Camp Railroad. Here is some of the interesting information that this book has in it: Graham Hill Road was named after Isaac Graham. Wealthy San Francisco attorney Joseph Welch purchased approximately 300 acres of old growth redwood trees and meadows. He set up a tourist resort. Norman Clark who arrived in the area in the mid-1950rsquo;s secured 180 acres of land still owned by Joseph Welch descendants in a 99 year lease. Norman Clark; the founder of Roaring Camp; was originally from Southern California. There is a picture in the book of industrialist Henry Cowell. Henry Cowell State Park is named after him.
