I downloaded this instantly from after purchase; to my cell phone to use with my free kindle app on phone. Unfortunately; my actual Kindle Fire was having difficulties and I could not download to it. So my review is based on using a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone screen. This book is about the odd birds in the world; like the peacock; flamingo; barn owl; etc. Small paragraphs about each bird in easy to read font; and easy to understand format. There are some big words that a child would need to look up; but I enjoy books that challenge a reader; and this one does. There is a lot of information provided; and the layout of the book keeps it interesting. The pictures are actual photographs of real birds in their habitat; detailed and close up views; amazing shots. I enjoyed the photos; and they link the text to the bird quite nicely. Each picture either appears before or after the text; and it flows nicely.Overall; I liked this book. The information was interesting and well done. The pictures are detailed and very clear. Love books that use photographs in such detail! This is a fun; interesting book on strange birds!I received this ebook for free or a discounted price to offer my honest opinion concerning this ebook. My review is based on my personal trial of this ebook. I understand the importance of an honest review to help other consumers make an educated purchase. I hope you have found my review helpful.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The prettiest birds!By Amy KincaidThis is a great high quality digital book. I was given the download free of charge so that I could read it and leave a review. It is spectacular. The books in the line of educational products are phenomenal. They contain beautiful pictures of the subject of the book. The download is available via the Kindle app to view on all your electronic devices. It works well on my android table. It is not compatible with my basic Kindle reader so thats something to be aware of. The publisher has listed a large number of educational books to download and view. I have fallen in love with all of them Ive downloaded so far. The pictures are so amazing. This book contains information and pictures of many different birds; all unique and strange. I cant say enough about the photography featured in the book. The photos are taken of the bird in its natural habitat. They are close up and very detailed. The colors really pop. This book would be a great one to have for children to look through and remember the birds they might have seen in a zoo or sanctuary. While it is best to leave wild birds in nature; some cannot survive there and must be kept safe by other means. This book serves to education children on the beauty we find in nature and to hopefully support conservation efforts of these beautiful creatures for years to come.Third graders would find this book enjoyable but I believe children as young as Kindergarten would enjoy having it read to them. The pictures could be talked about as well and engaging to the younger child. Children as young as preschool age could use the book as a picture book. Its never to early to introduce a child to the love of books and learning.I hope this review has been helpful to you. Download it and start enjoying it for yourself. Make sure to check out the other books by this publisher. They are a wonderful addition to your digital library.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. These are my favorite. It is said that they can live up ...By MICHELLE (Meshelly)This provides pictures and facts on birds! In the book there is a total of 52 Pages; 27 of those are pictures. Some facts include; of the McCaw bird. These are my favorite. It is said that they can live up to be the age of 60 years old. The oldest recoreded living McCaw was 80 years old. It is said that they can live longer with proper care and feeding. The pictures are OK. Not so vivid. This book is good for me ages 7 and up. I recommend this book for teachers.I would like to state I am faithful and frequently shopper on . I; like you; rely on consumers honest opinion of a product/products that I may have intentions of purchasing at that moment or in the future. I was given the opportunity to receive this item for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my use; examination; and over all thoughts and recommendations. I havent; nor will I ever leave a false opinion of a product out of obligation. Nor have I or would I ever except any form of monies in exchange for my assessment of an item; and or give a dishonest and false evaluation. No one in any way has or will coach me on what to or not to say about an item. I am not obligated to give a positive review. In fact I have been asked to be completely honest to help the company/companies provide the best products possible or their customers.
