My family has been in that town since probably 1960... I guess they arent considered part of the Polish Community since they probably werent friends with the author. Also; it has way too much focus on religion. The inside of the book does not hold up to the title.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The lost years!By ChinaThis was suppose to be a series of history about each town from its beginning to present. What this book is a separated pidgeon holed story of Polish people and their friends from WWII to present. What happened to Wallington from George Washington to WWii? A waste! And I live here!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Worst Book I Ever ReadBy HalibutI want my money back! Most of the book contains pictures of the Sadowski family; Most Sacred Heart Church; and construction of the HIllside SAC; and let me tell you that Most Sacred Heart and Father Fronczak was not the love fest the author makes it out to be. I have lived in Wallington since day one and so much is missing from this "history." A native should have written this book and not a transplant from Jersey City. Stick to your day job; and seriously; can I get my money back?
