The first pattern we decided to do clearly had not been test knitted. The chart and the pattern are not the same garment. We are all very experienced knitters; and were fortunate to be able to completely re write the pattern. We will not be trying any other patterns from the book; we will not recommend this to anyone else. A real shame as the picture look so pretty.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An item additional to your library ;but not necessaryBy LeikaThis is a book is useful for very experienced knitters (it should be mentioned in the advertisment).I missed some more modern variations of these traditional exquisit forms of creating a master piece.Overpriced ;since there are many other cheaper options. Therefore only a moderate my rating.Leika
