Hi brow (I think) with little substanceBy GeeA controversial proposal to shut down the Sheridan to auto traffic and convert it to community use caught my interest and wanting to do a little research; I found this title on .The author provides an excellent explanation of the problems posed by the Sheridan and the difficulties in addressing those problems. Unfortunately; no solutions are offered. The "13 Projects" of the title are 13 vague and brief ideas presented in very scholarly (I think) but generic terms.It is very obvious that I (as an engineer and a member of the general public) am not the target audience - my guess is that only urban planning academic types would be appreciative of this work.
