This is the second book that I found dedicated to women monologues. Personally; I did not find one that was a perfect fit for me at this particular time; but it is worth having for future needs. The most valuable part of this book for me was the Introduction on Acting Solo and Your 60 Seconds of Fame. My only complaint; however; is that some of the plays are either currently out-of-print or previously over-done. I would suggest this book; however; as it has many; many womens monologues to choose from--no easy task in a world dominated by acting books for men.
