It features many great photos from peoples homes throughout Mexico and often the photos are closeups; revealing the details you dont often get. The chapter listings are; 1)adobe 2)stone 3)brick and masonry 4)plaster and stucco 5)wood 6)tera-cotta and tiles 7)iron;metal;and glass 8)paint. Little text; but the great pictures do all the talking. My main beef is that all the photos are black and white and if ever a subject screamed out for brilliant color photography;this is it. The tilework alone loses much of its beauty in BW. It easily would have been a 5 star book in color.But;in spite of that;the book is enjoyable. I only hope to see some of these houses from the inside someday!
