The exercises are well explained and enjoyable! The contents also go into the scales and chords placements and hence throw in some music theory to learn. As a beginner; repetition and reinforcements are really important to progress. This is actually one of the best book out there to help with fingering; which is so important if you want to play well and smoothly; as well as interpreting the more complex pieces. So many piano playing friends support that these early on exercises will support pleasurable playing of advanced peices like jazz!
