Great historical summary of the art and artists protesting the Vietnam WarBy Carole HarmelAs a student myself at the time of the Vietnam War; I found this a fascinating review of this era which ties together the history with the artists through a very readable narrative. I have not seen another history bringing together the protest art and the history in so cohesive and illuminating a way. It would be interesting and valuable to historians; students; curators and anyone who; like myself; is just interested in the period; either because of living through it ; or as an informative history of protest art in this country.Very readable and accessible; as well as useful to scholars.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
