Each page is an inspiration and a chance to peek back at history as it unfolded. The postcards are an incredible collection and find. What a treasure that the author has shared of family history and collections. The writing is vivid all on its own - you can actually see the pictures in your mind while reading the book. Highly recommend you purchase a copy and buy a second copy to share as a gift with a history lover in your life. Neither of you will be disappointed. The best part? You can actually visit Bisbee to see some of these sights are still in existence. Dont forget to visit the historic Queen Mine Tour and the History Museum while youre in town. Cannot wait for the next book by Annie Graeme Larkin!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Far More than Just PostcardsBy H. JohnsonI had expected just reproductions of postcard photographs accompanied by the simple captions postcards typically contain. I was delighted to find that I was wrong in my expectations-Ms Larkin has written substantial text to accompany each postcard so this book is a wonderful history of the Queen of the Copper Camps; full of fascinating details to engage the readers attention.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
