While most teachers find audio recordings very useful at the lesson and for home practice; others prefer not to use the audio. To accommodate all teachers; this version of Alfreds Premier Piano Course Lesson Book 1A does not have audio included.

Its a great documentary; its free on YouTube; it will take up as much or less of your time as this book; and--most important--its clearly the primary source material for Mr. Fourniers effort here. True; there is some original research in the book; but it mostly concerns the sort of trivia and arcana that only the most obsessive fan really craves. I appreciate Fourniers obvious love of his subject matter (which I share); and I understand that an adjunct needs whatever writing gig comes his way; but you should probably pass on this one.2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Terrible OCR makes several passages difficult to comprehend (for one example; took me a while to figure out that "Gende" meant "Gentle"). The publisher obviously didnt proofread the Kindle version. To charge $10 for such shoddy work is abusive.
