MorrisonI was excited to receive this book; as one of my portraits of Thoreau was to be included. I was also excited to see other artists interpretations of Thoreau. Instead; what I received was a book with what appeared to be less than a dozen images. Really? A book about portraits of Thoreau and only a handful of images are shown.I provided the author with a hi-res scan of my painting and permission to reprint my image. Instead of a printed image; all that was included in the book was my name and a written description of what my painting looked like. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? A written description of my painting? As a matter of fact; the book is comprised mostly of written descriptions and dates of paintings. Why bother publishing such a book? As I mentioned in the "Comments" section; the book features 30 portraits of Thoreau (not the 12 that Mr. Morrison claims); and the analysis of each image is; I believe; thought-provoking.
