This early work by Miles Mark Fisher is both expensive and hard to find in its first edition. It details the importance and meaning of slave songs in America. This fascinating work is thoroughly recommended for inclusion on the bookshelf of all with an interest in slave music and the political history of the United States. Many of the earliest books; particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before; are now extremely scarce. We are republishing these classic works in affordable; high quality; modern editions; using the original text and artwork.

I expected to see more practical information about being an actor and especially a film actor. I also expected that the authors would try to reach the international readers; not just the Japanese. Instead; I encountered a lot of specific examples of the traditional Japanese theater which required a lot of footnotes and explanations. I dont find this book to be very useful for non-Japanese reader and actors. There is not enough information about acting in movies and how it differs from the theater performances.0 of 2 people found the following review helpful.
