The pages are printed on both sides; it is necessary to make a xerox copy of a page before attempting to scan; or ghost-through will occur. The copyright notice is somewhat confusing; it appears to be a boiler-plate for use in books containing alphabets and states that use is free for no more than "six words composed from them"; although there are no alphabets in this particular book. The images once scanned and digitally tweaked make wonderful graphics to create intricate selections from within your graphics application.
