Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Kunst - Bildhauerei; Skulptur; Plastik; Note: 2;0; Universitauml;t Erfurt (Kunst); 5 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis; Sprache: Deutsch; Abstract: Nach diesem kurzen Einblick uuml;ber die Hudson River Valley Serie; in Form einer Rezension soll nun eine Auseinandersetzung zwischen Frank Stella und Jean Tinguely folgen; die sich speziell auf ein Werk bezieht. Zuerst mouml;chte ich auf den erstgenannten Kuuml;nstler nauml;her eingehen.Wie in meinem Uuml;berblick schon erwauml;hnt; umfasste die in Jena befindliche Ausstellung fuuml;nf Objekte des Amerikanischen Kuuml;nstlers. Aus diesen fuuml;nf Plastiken soll nun ein konkretes Werk des Kuuml;nstlers im Mittelpunkt stehen. Es handelt sich bei dieser um die Tafel/Plate LXXXIV; mit dem Titel bdquo;Garrisonldquo; von 1995. Auf den ersten Blick scheinen die Objekte von ihm nichts mit seiner vorausgehenden Malerei zu tun zu haben. Doch das ist ein Trugschluss; denn alle Arbeiten sind eine Fortfuuml;hrung von der Malkunst; nur mit anderen Mitteln. Zum Beispiel hat er seine Theorie der Bildlichkeit in die Architektur mit uuml;bertragen und somit ausgeweitet.Am Beispiel der Kunstwerke bdquo;Garrisonldquo; und bdquo;Poja (Hochaltar)ldquo; wird in dieser Ausarbeitung auf folgende Fragen eingegangen.Wie ist der Aufbau der Werke und in wie Weit ist die Komposition erkennbar? Was fuuml;r eine Rolle spielt die Oberflauml;chenbeschaffenheit bei der Gesamtwirkung der Kunstwerke?Um diesen Ansatzpunkten auf den Grund zu gehen ist es jedoch erforderlich; einige Vergleiche zu anderen Kuuml;nstlern vorzunehmen. Einer von ihnen ist der Schweizer Jean Tinguely mit seiner Montage bdquo;Poja (Hochaltar)ldquo;. An Hand dieser beiden Abbildungen; soll der Frage nach dem Material nach gegangen werden.Zu Beginn dieser Werkanalyse steht zunauml;chst jedoch eine Bildbeschreibung; die es ermouml;glichen soll; einen Einblick von dem Kunstwerk Stellas und dann von der Konstruktion Jean Tinguelys bekommen.

Great read; vivid colorsBy Karen HarrisThis is a small book (about 6.25" x 6.75") but has close ups of several areas of some paintings andis 255 page. It includes a well written; easy to read; biography of a fascinating and influential artist with many shakes of painting; more traditional; then expressionist and fauvist / abstract. The colors are very accurate; the sizes of original art pieces are noted. The only problem I had was some of the finite details for a an class reproduction piece but the quality of the pictures along with information included about the artist and his life were great.Franz Marc was a brilliant artist with colorful life story. He was drafted for WWI and painted tarpaulins in the style of master artists to camouflage equipment for the new style of war; with airplanes. His paintings were deemed deviant art when the National Socialist (Nazi) Party rose to power in 1936 Germany. Marcs paintings set new records at auction in the 1990s. His; and many other amazing artists; work have been recovered as recently as 2012 after being hidden away duringI recommend this book.10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Expressionists DelightBy charlie4Wonderful book; beautiful reproductions of Marcs gloriously colorful paintings.......not only vivid in color but also in composition. Marc was a casualty of WWI; in his 30s; dying much too young. One can only imagine the contribution he would have made to the development of the art world had he lived longer. The story of Franz Mark is both tragic and inspiring. Excellent description of his work; methods and thinking. I feel particular empathy for his Representations of animal sentience.
