So; naturally; I was pleased to hear of the publication of TWO - her latest volume of photographs.I hope this publication helps to expose her work to those who may be unfamiliar with it.The theme of the work is indicated in the title: pairings; combos; juxtapositions. This has made for some surprising images: some very witty; some poignant; some very clear. some enigmatic; they all hold your eye.There is an overarching theme of pairings; as well: that of the visual and the verbal. Edited by Ann Patchett; mighty literary talent accompany the photos - essays by Barbara Kingsolver; Richard Russo; Elizabeth Gilbert and Susan Orlean and others.
