On their bland campuses; the likes of Apple; Google and Facebook dominate the world; removed from the mess and the prying eyes of the real city. But while their products are discussed endlessly; their urbanism has rarely been. So what does it look like? To date; the Silicon Valley campus has served as a backdrop to many a sun-kissed founder photoshoot; but there is little understanding of the distinctive urban personality that separates the village of Facebook from the town of Google; or the truly urban Twitter (which recently decided to move to San Franciscos notoriously un-gentrifiable Tenderloin). This investigation of the private towns of Silicon Valley examines the tech campus as a typology and attempts to discover what urban design says about companies we think we know.

There are some high notes and there is some complex reading. Depending on the recording; its what Mangione played. I wouldnt go as far as to say its an expect or advanced book. There are some tunes that more difficult than others that require a solid player to pull them off well; but some arent too bad. A decent high school player should be able to handle some of them--well; at least from decent band programs with somewhat dedicated players. Ive encountered quite a few high school trumpet players than can manage this entire book.If youre getting this for one or two songs; try a "fake book" first. Youll get A LOT more for your money if you do. If youre after "Feels So Good"; Ive seen it in several fake books before for instance.As for the "high notes"; dont worry about it. Ive seen video of live performances of Chuck not being able to hold onto the high notes and has taken them down. Remember; in many genres of music you dont have to play it exactly how you heard it the first time. Take the opportunity to rewrite it a little or even transpose it down.
