Environmental planning forms the basis of all site development decisions and deals with the factors that must be considered before a site plan can be drawn up. Environmental Planning for Site Development emphasizes the man/nature interface and explains how nature limits and controls what can happen on every piece of land. The text is clearly set out and will help the reader understand exactly what information is needed for a site planning proposal. The book includes a live case study to demonstrate how GIS systems are now assisting in the design and decision process as communities increasingly participate in local decisions. (Local Agenda 21)

Great for beginners; inspiring and hes a great cheerleaderBy Francesca D.Great book for someone who has no idea how to go about getting into the acting business. I dont think you have to do all the steps he listed; but the idea that you have to be willing to make yourself vulnerable and available in public is certainly true. Its great because he is a big cheerleader and will get you excited. And his advice to focus on auditioning as your primary job when youre starting out is gold. Great for beginners who think they might want to act; but take the specific tasks he gives with a grain of salt! Then; after youve been auditioning and decided you want to really be an actor; read Bonnie Gillespies Self Management for Actors.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Talent and determinationBy A CustomerTalent and determination - the two variables that can make or break an acting career. And Peter Jazwinski in his book Act Now! provides a comprehensive acting plan that; coupled with ones own talent and determination; has the potential to lead to success. In addition; the most important point in Petes book is that there are things for everyone; even people in backwater towns; to do to begin moving down the long; hard road of becoming a working actor. Its true that the yellow brick road for actors is as full of obstacles as the one Dorothy took. Yet; with Act Now! as ones guide as well as ones own talent and determination; everyone has a chance of reaching the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great Go to GuideBy UpandcomingI really wish I had read this when I was..oh say 16; but Im 22 and just read it last month. Its a great book that has helpful simple explainations of how to start off as an actor/actress. Peter is quick and to the point in breaking everything down and gives helpful tips that seem to come from a long history of being in the business. As an aspiring actress this was a great place to start!
