A must read for every graphic designerBy Will SherwoodIve been a graphic designer for almost 40 years; and Ellens book is a inspired look at what makes for great client relationships. This is truly an inspired work that every graphic design should read; at least if theyre serious about achieving success in the field.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Informative. Insightful. Inspiring. A fantastic must read for creatives at any stage of their career.By Tracee SavageWhat a gift. Finding information like this; certainly is one. My husband and I run a very small design and web studio. We are not new to the advertising world but are fresh in running our own piece of it. Its tough. This book has some fantastic advice from not just one amazing mind; but many. Wise words from every designers hero along with dream clients weighing in. I love the perspective. It forces you to see everyone; all sides; in a positive and helpful light. Without clients; we have no business. So it is important to learn how to navigate them. The information contained in this book would take years to glean in your advertising career. Fortunately; authors like this have given us an informational and inspirational nudge to help us along the way. I highly recommend this wonderful guide to creatives of all disciplines. Whether you are in house; at an agency or run a boutique shop. There is too much good stuff in there to pass up. My only regret is that I had not read it sooner!
