This is a wonderful program created for children between the ages of 3 to 7. Using a calming; quiet; questioning format allows the children to formulate and ask questions meaningful to their faith-walk.However; there is much prepatory work in this curriculum - you must either create paper (laminate for future use!) or wooden figures to work with; fabrics and props to create the scenes and plastic shoe boxes to store all this in - for the children enjoy working with stories long after they are told. Be prepared to spend some time (and volunteers!) to help put these kits together.Overall; its allowed even our most wiggly ADD children to connect on a deeper level with their Lord and saviour. Spiritual Worship with ChildrenBy Erica BenjaminI love that this book encourages children to explore scripture spiritually. The language; rituals; and silence of worship are so important. It is challenging to change from tradition Sunday School with arts and crafts to this form of childrens worship. Our teachers find the silence challenging and do not like the basic reflection time. I; however; love it and think it works well. The biggest challenge for me is building all the supplies needed to tell the stories.
