JiaThere is a nice foreword written by Elizabeth Congdon Kovanen; but the quality of the pictures are poor--I guess they are typical of the colored reproductions from that time (my copy is from 1979). But these reproduction are also too small; too--these illustrations were all based on elaborate drawings; and when they are scaled down too much the fine lines in the drawing get lost.
