Il racconto breve richiede unrsquo;attenta misura nella descrizione dei dettagli; deve riuscire a presentare i personaggi approfondendoli; descrivendoli; insomma deve rendere la fotografia di un fatto; di una storia. Vittorio Cravotta in questrsquo;opera lo fa. Nel suo raccontare riesce non solo a dar corpo e anima ai suoi personaggi; ma riesce a rappresentare tutti gli elementi che gli stanno intorno: dal luogo fisico agli elementi che con essi interagiscono. Lrsquo;autore infatti; oltre alle persone; porta in scena i suoni; gli odori; le tradizioni di due isole; di due culture che egrave; riuscito a far proprie; amandole e andandone orgoglioso. In ldquo;Le due isolerdquo; un narrare; a volte forse in modo autobiografico; altre in veste di attento osservatore; della vita che scorre fra difficoltagrave;; desideri; sogni e ironia della sorte. Un fermare; rendendolo immagine indelebile; soprattutto il ricordo di un tempo passato; con i sogni; le fatiche e le speranze che non smettono comunque di essere le stesse che ritroveremo nel nostro futuro.Vittorio Cravotta egrave; nato in Sicilia; dove egrave; vissuto fino allrsquo;etagrave; di 23 anni. A rich and rewarding play - to be read and performedBy A CustomerPolly Teales play version of Brontes classic; "Jane Eyre" is remarkable not only for its true connection to the book; but even more for its ability to create a world in which the Victorian characters can live; without ostracising a modern audience. I am an acting student from Queensland whose university put on this play; and after watching it five times (voluntarily!)I can say that it never fails to rouse all the emotions. There are some beautiful scenes in this play; particularly at the end of each play; which still cause me to hold my breath. The characters of Bertha and Jane complement each other extraordinarily well; and Polly manages to convey both the passion and the control which rule most of the characters lives. Jane herself is an amazing character because she has an independence that allows her to move on and take responsibility for her own happiness no matter what happens to her.
