I enjoyed his reminiscenses and we have so many in common. He mentions the Kray twins; and they have always fascinated me. I tell people in a former life I must have been a gangsters moll. Derek went dancing (bird watching?) at the Tottenham Royal which is where I met my husband to be in the 50s. So many delightful stories of his personal life and his Eastenders life; some quite sad. It was an added bonus to see some great photos at the end of the book.
