In many ways; Mexico seems ahead of its time. It both celebrated indigenous beauty in the 1920s; and then suffered the cheap Chinese craft imports in the 1930s. The authors attention to detail is quite remarkable; as it the subtle understanding of class politics at play.My only concern is that the publisher has not formatted the book correctly for a Kindle. The font is difficult to read and the footnotes dont hyperlink. I hope they can improve their quality for future publications.
