The Best Blues Scales Book I have FoundBy AHGEvery other book I have found gives you the blues scale and tells you to "improvise using the notes."This book gives you the theory of the blues scales; both major and minor; and many notated solos for practice with backing tracks to play along with. The solos range from easy to intricate; and give you a range for learning and practice. I bought the Eflat version for alto sax; and the alto sax on the CD is very clear and you can hear the articulation. The spiral binding lays flat on the music stand.
