She was thrilled to find many tavern owner she knows personally here. Although sad that her local tavern wasnt included. She is having a great time with the book and its an iconic representation to what she has tried to tell the rest of the family; that this isnt "bar-going" ; its a community lifestyle in Wisconsin. Thaks to the Author for providing this pictoral and finally a true story in pictures of the way people get thru their lives in Wisconsin rural communities.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Coffee table book of bars.By MEDHaving recently purchased a summer home in Wisconsin I was intrigued by the book. I have found that bars indeed in the state are microcosms of the community. Have left the book on the shelf at the condo - the pictures are worth perusing.0 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Not really what I expectedBy ConniThe book was not really what I expected. It would have been more interesting if it wouldnt have foucsed on so many of the same taverns.
