It has music and tabs (even if you can only read tabs; you should get the idea of the tempos from the music.) I know you can get a lot of free tabs for the bands music but there are two compelling reasons why this book is a good investment: 1) Most tab sights do not tab out the all the solos the Anderson and company incorporate. For example I can find lots of tabs and chord progressions for Locomotive Breath; but not so easy to find the piano/guitar duet in the intro which may be the most beautiful and challenging part of the song. Its all here! 2) Karma; this is copyrighted materials and the artists should get their due. There is one thing you should know; however. This is a GUITAR book; which means that all the songs; all the solos (whether they were performed by flute or piano) are arranged for a guitar player. So if you are looking to play said duet with your piano buddy; it will take a bit of time to figure out who is to play which part; and they will have to infer their bass clef part from the chord progression (a slight fake.) But this is a great book for the guitar!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands so I thought it would be pretty cool ...By S.M.I bought this for my daughter; who is learning to play guitar. My son plays flute and bass and Id already gotten him the Tull book for flute. Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands so I thought it would be pretty cool to learn some of their songs to play with my kids. From what I can tell; this book looks very well done. The song selection is pretty good; there are some I wish were included but Tull has a huge library and you cant have them all; I guess. Time to play!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
