The most important book in my opinionBy Zelie NicI picked this book up when I was a young kid. I knew a few scales by this time; and ha a pretty good chord vocabulary. This book; suggested to me by a guy who owns a stringed insturments shop in my town; REALLY pushed me to the next level. Not only was the books contents deceptivley challenging; but it taught me how to play lead guitar; a realm that had before mystified me.This book is great if youre trying to learn county; rockabilly; and early rockroll. Theres some blues and folk in here too. Really; this book is one of the best Ive come across. I recently bought another copy because my originally one began to fall apart. Even after all these years; I still turn to this book and I still get ideas from it.
