FrustatingBy Mel SA very expensive electronic book without a table of contents and without any way of getting back to your bookmark unless by page number; if you happen to remember it. As good as it is on information; it is impossible to use as a reference book unless you have total recall on where that point you need to see again was made. The layout is unattractive; photos squeezed onto pages and instruction seems to stray from one area to the next. This "Guide" needs an editor and some professional organization to make itself useful. Frustrating and a waste of money. Does refund? If not; Id accept a print edition of this book because there is good stuff in it.Mel S7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. A great book for both Sonys A7 and Sonys A6000By elhaggarThis book simply details every function; and menu item of the A7 camera; Menu Position; What it Does; Recommended Setting; and Constraints. Moreover; Gary put together two beautiful card sets for his personal settings and a cookbook for special shooting situations. Theses two card sets are greatly helpful as they explain it all in a nutshell. The reason I put A6000 in the title of my review is that I own A6000. As A6000 is recently released; there are no books published yet to cover it. Garys A7 book is doing the job perfectly regarding A6000 as well. One more thing; the kindle version does not have a table of contents and I found it hard to switch between the chapters.Garys PDF book is a complete release of the color ebook. It contains the table of contents and facilitates all the search functions provided in the PDF file. The ebook is available at his site: [...]5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. I am really disappointedBy VCBThough the coverage seems complete; it is extremely difficult to find material on a specific topic such as "manual focus". There seems to be neither a table on contents nor an index. References within the text give pages numbers for more info but that does not help unless you stumble across the info.I think the info is satisfactory as you read straight through the book but is is difficult to use as a reference work. To me; the info should have been oriented more to shooting situation rather than only a list of functions in no apparent order. He promises a set of reference cards but they are not yet available with a message saying the book came out early thus the cards were not ready. The cards might be a big help. Plus; since they were not ready; you would have thought you could register for a follow up email. For what this book costs; I expected a better presentation.September 27 FOLLOW-UP: I have gone back to this book several times and have found it difficult to find the info;I was looking for. Having bought several e-books lately; I have a lot to compare with and find this one pretty poor. Though his conversational tone is entertaining and comfortable; the info is scattered. I also think I would try elsewhere
