We all committed the whole album to memory; and even now can recite many of these hilarious stories by heart; Maine accent and all.This tradition spread to our cousins; who also can recite from memory; and at family gatherings there will ultimately be a "Bert I Talk-Off".Whether you memorize these fabulous tales; or just listen enjoy them; they represent the wonderful; odd colloquial turns of phrase that we still see in old; rural parts of the country.
