A Good Book for the Viceregal Mexican Architecture EnthusiastBy Eli Hernandez; JrThis book is filled with information regarding the architecture of Mexico in the 16th through the 19th centuries. It was required reading for an architecture course that I was enrolled in. While I found it to be a good read; it really seemed to be a long running visual analysis of the structures. Quickly running through one structure after another after another. The images in the book are all black and white; so it is difficult to appreciate the beauty and detail of the various facades. With regards to how it was printed; after spending some time reading the book the spine cracked and separated from the pages. If this book was republished with color images and maybe a little less of the quick shotgun approach to evaluating the structures I would definitely rate it 5 stars.1 of 6 people found the following review helpful.
