KerrThis is an incredibly pacy; readable book; fascinating both as a portrayal of the music industry and as the autobiography of somebody who threw all restraint out of the window. Its a classic case study of the ruinous effect of too much power on an already damaged individual and his soon abandoned wife and children. This is someone who finally got brought back to earth by a destroyed liver; a humiliating sacking and a subsequent business failure. His insights and interactions with his stars; his honest self-examination and the upbeat ending make this book easy to recommend.
