Why do people go to museums and what do they learn there? What roles can museums serve in a learning community? How can museums facilitate more effective learning experiences? John H. Falk and Lynn D. Dierking investigate these questions in Learning from Museums. Synthesizing theories and research from a wide range of disciplines; including psychology; education; anthropology; neuroscience and museum research; Falk and Dierking explain the nature and process of learning as it occurs within the museum context and provides advice on how museums can create better learning environments. Still a great book; and we have managed to make this ...By SamanthaI am a voice instructor and have a student who will be auditioning for this musical; so I bought this book. She already had her own book and it is the same composer/editor everything but her book has pictures. Well; I thought they were the same; but some of the music turned out to be different in my book than in hers. I have looked through all the copyright information; etc. and all the names of the people who wrote the book are the same in each book...so strange. So; I cannot figure out which book is correct! Some things that are different for example; are that in a couple of the songs there are singing or speaking parts that are not written in my book. Still a great book; and we have managed to make this work.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Review of Mary Poppins; piano musicBy Mary ReillyI am disappointed in this piano version. It is almost too simple and there are pages of each musical arrangement. I would have preferred a more concise and slightly more challenging version of each musical piece.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
