It has a wonderful selection of pieces; and it delivers as promised - easy keys. The font is a perfect size. The pieces are set up so there is minimal need to flip pages. I love using this book for the piano. But even better; I just started playing the accordion; and many of the pieces are wonderfully suited for that instrument. I highly recommend this book. I saw some reviews that mentioned mistakes in the book. Not a problem. I found maybe a handful in the entire book; and they were easy to fix. For years classical music was unavailable to me. Now I can enjoy it; too!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Look at the Pictures; Know the Terms!By Max ZarketI take full responsibility for making an error in buying this book. It delivers exactly what it says it will. Look at all of the pictures before you buy it. I was unaware of what "fake book" meant. I was expecting "easy piano" or what I have learned is called "big notes". For those who dont know: a "Fake Book" means that you will only get a melody line. "Big Notes" mean that the notes are in slightly larger print; a simplified melody; there are simple mostly 2 note chords; and sometimes a few of the notes have their letter name written on them. "Easy Piano" usually just indicates slightly simpler rhythms chords; and a key signature with fewer accidentals.19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. CLASSICAL FAKE BOOK FOR BEGINNERSBy J. MartinThis book is great for piano or keyboard beginners that like serious music. It may be "step 2" or "step 3" in the learning process due to the increased demands on left hand chord activity and slight increase in sharp and flat note requirements. It contains many of the songs the average serious music aficiando may enjoy like Fur Elise; Canon D (in C); Air; Ave Maria and many more. This book is an opportunity that will take me to a higher level of enjoyment with my keyboard.I now have four fake books and I find all of them easy to use and a great method to self teach myself. I will be purchasing more in the future because I enjoy many musical genres.
