London Wall (Oberon Modern Plays)

audiobook London Wall (Oberon Modern Plays) by John van Druten in Arts-Photography

Description

Langfords Advanced Photography is the only advanced photography guide a serious student or aspiring professional will ever need. In this eighth edition; Efthimia Bilissi continues in the footsteps of Michael Langford by combining an unrivalled level of technical detail with a straightforward writing style while simultaneously bringing the text firmly in to the digital era. This book covers the entire photographic process from a technical standpoint - not only detailing the how but also explaining the why that is so often missing from photography texts. From the workings of cameras; lenses; digital imaging sensors and software to new hot topics such as HDR imaging; digital asset management; and even running your own photography business; everything a serious photographer could need to extend their art into professional realms is covered. The book also benefits from a full glossary; charts and inspirational full color images throughout; with summaries and projects at the end of each chapter to reinforce the theory.

The knitting abbreviations and lingo pages are fabulous for a beginning knitter. There are a bunch of great patterns in here too. Theres really only two "cosmo style quzzes" that are MUCH more tame than any cosmo quiz I ever took; but that serve their purpose. This seems like a great book to pick up if you want to teach yourself how to knit. The one thing I just dont understand is why Wiley continually styles their books horribly. The photographs are amateur at best (Ive actually seen amateur photography thats better than a lot of their photos - and not just from this book); and barely show any detail at all in the stitch pattern; or different details; and none of the models seem really comfortable. Knitting books are in such a highly competitive market that I dont see how they can get away with it.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Okay knitting bookBy FlalamingoVery nice knitting book with great ideas in it! I didnt like that it was mostly how to knit and not that many patterns... but it was good! They complicated hats with decreasing and all that jazz; when you can just knit a strip; sew together the ends and sew up the top and pull... and then its a hat... the bad part about the quiz was there wasnt a n awnser for every one of the styles.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Find your Style and Knit it tooBy TonTonTonThis book has everything you need to know about knitting. Its informative and easy to follow. Good for begginers and teenagers who wants to be stylish and funky. I personally loved the cute ruffle skirt with unique fringe.
