If youre new to "fake" books; they include just a songs melody; lyrics; simplified chords--all in the key of C. I would say that as a beginner; you can easy get through this. As a more advanced pianist; it is a great outline that will offer you the opportunity to change the chords to make the piece sound more interesting. In the interest of keeping with its title of "Easy"; some of the chords in a few of the songs dont sound exactly correct. I use the book to do some gigging and for teaching. If you are looking for easy arrangements of many excellent popular Broadway songs; this is the book for you. Also; if you are an accomplished musician; and can add the missing complexities on your own; the book is handy to have on gigs to handle requests.
